I'm furious. Now, i have to pray that seeing eye will come to florida to train me with a dog which they may not. Not only that, but this will make getting a dog take even longer because either A, a trainer has to come out and work with me here, or B, it means i basically have to put getting my dog on hold till i can get all of this paperwork in order. I want to scream, I'm stuck paying for something that the damn government has decided is no longer useful. Oh sure i have a useful birth certificate, they've accepted it for years, but, it's not certified, and apparrently in order to get an id card, you have to have certified paperwork. Ok getting that would have been easy, but the courts had to go and screw things up even more by not filing the adoption paperwork. This means we not only have to do it, but it puts everything behind schedule by anywhere from 1 to 2 months.
The thing that's got me so upset about it all is i can't fight it, i just have to bite my tongue and pay for someone else's fuck up.
Oh well. I'll deal, but i strongly dislike it.
If this had been say 10 years ago, i could have gone into the DMV, gotten a new id with my birth certificate and adoption papers like i've done for years, but now all of this is not good enough. They say it's to "protect american citizens"""""" or what ever the BS they call it is, but as far as i'm concerned all they're doing is hurting the american citizens, because if the courts or lawyers haven't done their jobs, the people who are well, for lack of better wording are victims of the courts mistakes we have to pay out the ass for them.
