Well i just spent a painful 45 minutes on trying to enable comments on
my medical marijuana blog. I found it disturbingly inaccessible. I
ggather from looking at google's blogger.com website that it's "a new
look prettier blah blah blah. Well, first of all there's no easy way to
change your settings in this "new and exciting blogger look" I spent
forever tabbing to the right place. then when i'd get there sometimes
the field would be labeled sometimes it wouldn't be. So in some cases
i'd have to arrow arround to read the required fields then i'd spend
another 10 minutes tabbing back to that point because the dumbass thing
doesn't track properly. So i assure you the new blogger look is far from
new and exciting it's a pile of crap.
It's totally almost completely inaccessible and almost impossible to
use, go google!

thoughts on blog posting and sex
I decided to repost this link in part because i found it useful.
http://www.hotholyhumorous.com/2013/02/how-to-give-hand-job.html
Now normally i dont talk about my sex life on my blog, I try not to in
part because our sex life is our business but....:P
I found the above article rather useful. Because of both my medical
conditions and the medications i'm on, We tend to get a little creative
in the bedroom. I found the above link useful because I love giving
chris pleasure and I've learned over the past almost 2 years what he
likes and what he doesn't. This article gives good advice if you dont
know how to give a good hand job,and it also offers suggestions. For
example I never thought about using lube. Bet he'd probably enjoy that
one will have to try it.:)
The article also offers suggestions on things to do to help him enjoy it
more.
Over all i've found her articles both useful and informative. I'd highly
recommend her blog for those who would like information about sex from a
christian perspective.

bella then and now
Bella is not the same cat i adopted at all from the humane society well
she is, but she's not. She's very sweet and cuddley which you could see
at the humane society, but now she's more cuddley. She doesn't growl
when i pick her up in fact she leans in, and likes to climb onto my
shoulder to observe everything from high up.
She doesn't sleep on the top of the cabinets any more either. She's
found out how to get into my closet, and she's found herself a small
corner to go curl up in and sleep.
We can't let her sleep with us at night because she likes to sleep on
top of us or climb on us to find a comfortable spot, so she sleeps out
in the living room on the couch. She used to bang on our door at night,
sometimes she still does but telling her to go lay down and chasing her
away from the door seems to settle that.
She's a very very good kitty, you never have to yell at her just have to
raise your voice a bit to make her stop what ever she's doing if it's bad.
Her flee allergy flared up when i first braught her home but the allergy
shot seems to settle that down and the antibiotics they gave her seem to
have cured her infection. We got her tags and registered her with the
city as well, I gather some folks do some folks dont register the cats
with the city, but i figure with both of us being blind if she's
registered there's a much better chance of her being foundand with us
both being blind that's a good thing in case she ever gets out.
I got everything situated with her microchip as well. Changed her name
from Lola to bella there since that's what we call her. She never
responded to lola with us but that could be because we started calling
her bella from the beginning.
The humane society was feeding her a really expensive food can't
remember what it's called now, but come the first we're switching her to
felidae. Felidae is a canidae product, and canidae is one of the best
organic type petfoods i've found. inova was one of the best as well but
that gave most of my animals diaria where as canidae products dont. We
can get it off amazon for a really good price so i can give her a grain
free diet and that's good.
There's a lot of contriversey over grain free pet foods vs. pet foods
with grains and the way i see it cats are meat eaters and not grain
eaters so grain free is good. If i find it causes problems then I'll
switch it a bit to something with grains but i dont think there will be.
An observation: since i've had bella she's not once puked on my floor
and that's pretty impressive. All of my cats have always puked something
like once a week or twice or every couple weeks.....Either way it
varried. She's not puked once, and i think it's got something to do with
feeding her canned food. The bulk of her diet is canned food with enough
crunchies to satisfy her
I've already posted this or some of it in the past couple posts but i
needed to write something up for the humane society when they ask about
how she's doing so thought i'd write up a more detailed post about how
she's doing.

things
This week hasn't gone as planned at all. Was supposed to go for a
gastric emptying study today, and was supposed to go for a followup at
the doctor yesterday. Been queezey for the last couple days. It's
getting close to about the whole nausia/vommitting thing again, so
trying not to get too frustrated.
Bella is doing well, she's been sticking to me like glue since i've not
been feeling well. I trimmed her nails today, and she didn't fight me at
all. They were done a week and a half ago, but they get sharp.
Not much else going on chris had monday off so we kind of lounged and
cuddled. No more federal holidays that he gets off for about 3 months
now. We'll be looking forward to the next one!

cat or dog?
So sometimes i wonder if bella is part dog. when there are things going
on outside, she growls like a dog does.....This low quiet growl that
says "i hear things and i dont want them to come in my house" But at
other times she acts like a cat, meowing, doing kitty olimpics through
the house or any number of catlike things. But sometimes she just acts
like a dog, it's strange!
Then we have the meowing alarm clock that goes off promptly at 4:30 She
comes to the door scratches at her matt and waits. If i dont get up she
keeps repeating the process till she's extremely loud and when i chase
her away, it only works for about an hour if she knows we're still
awake. If she thinks we've gone back to sleep she'll wait 2 hours and
repeat the process again. Strange cat!

a majorly debated issue
I've thought long and hard on wether to post about this particular
issue, especially considering how some of my family or friends may feel.
However, I can no longer stay silent on the topic for a couple of large
reasons. 1. It's had a huge impact on my medical conditions in the past
several months, and 2, well if i really have to get into politics i
guess i'll start here.
The topic in question is the medical marijuana issue. 2 states now have
decided to make it legal. Not just that but i've had 2 doctors now who
have strongly urged me to try it because of my various medical problems.
So, I decided back a couple of months ago to get the priscription and
try it.
Medically it's helped me a great deal. it's kept me out of the hospital
several times now which is a good thing. My nausia and pain have
increased, and i've found this a good way to lower the nausia and pain
and help decrease some of the medications i've been on. In the end i'm
still on them, I just have to use them less often, and that's a good
thing. I'm also not on the opiates for the pain, and that's also a good
thing.
Some time ago, I began to think of how i could help other people think
through and maybe decide if this was also good for them, So i've created
a blog on the topic.
I encourage those of you who may have similar medical problems to mine
or other severe medical problems to have a look at the blog see how it's
helped me and give feedback if you wish.

bella's first vet visit
So, bella went to the vet today, and things went incredibley well. She
didn't really like it but she behaved well.
I got her flea control and she was treated for allergies and a skin
infection. I thought she was having allergy problems but i was also
unsure. The humane society paid for the problem since she had it when i
got her. I'm glad about this, glad to see they help with some of the
after adoption care, well least for this visit anyway.
Vet prices here are a bit higher then florida in some ways her allergy
shot was 55 her antibiotics were 33, i didn't have to pay for them but i
hope she doesn't have this issue too often.
Other then that, things are good, very good.

bella round 2
Well our girl has really come out of her shell now. it took her till
wednesday to come out. she did this low growl when ever she heard things
or we moved and so on, but she doesn't do that now accept to show us
when she's displeased. it's not angry, it's just her way of talking.
She's really a good girl and i'm quite pleased with how she's worked
out. We had to ban her from the bedroom when we're sleeping at night
though, she tends to climb all over you. it's cute, but hard when 2
restless people sleep in a bed because if you wake up, she wakes up and
when she wakes up she climbs on both of us. A good girl just not for
night time lol...
Vet tomorrow, we'll see how that goes.

bella
Ever since i had to get rid of caesar and esther, I've been wanting to
get another cat, I'm an extreme cat lover for many reasons. Well chris
and i are finally in a position to get one, and yesterday i went to the
humane society and i got a kitty. Her name at the shelter was Lola, but
i've renamed her to bella. Bella is like a cackey type coloring. She's
2.5 years old, and she was given up by a family because they couldn't
figure out why she was constantly chewing on herself etc. Turns out
she's got a flee allergy and so that family gave her up because they
couldn't afford to help her.
I braught her home yesterday and let her out of the carrier she
immediately jumped on the counter, and curled up in the corner. She was
very riendly and let us pet her and talk to her. But when we left her
alone she vanished and hid for a good 12 hours. She didn't want her
dinner and i ended up throwing it away. She ate the majority of the dry
food though, so that's good. She came out around 11-midnight or so and
was investigating everything. She cried at me but when i went to pet her
she hid and wouldn't come to me for nothing.
I finally found the secret to make her come out though! Bribe her with
food and petting. You can tell she wants to make friends she's just shy.
The next couple of days/weeks will be interesting as she adjusts She
goes to the vet friday for a free checkup and flee medicine.
Bella likes chris i think with some time she'll purr for both of us.:)
