thoughts on android and moving

I've not written in a while had a lot going on.

Back in july chris got hired at google. We left july 31st and landed in mountain view.

I love this area the weather is beautiful, the people are nice, and best of all, we are pretty well independent now.

We can walk to all kinds of things where we're located. There's a store, quiznos, starbucks, all kinds of things.

Our complex has a pool and fitness center and believe me all of those get used.:) The pool is heated and they have a hottub the size of a pool it's great!

The people here are super friendly. We're in the north park apartment villages. They're gated communities but we can use the pools etc at any of the 6 villages. Each village has 2 buildings.

I'm still waiting for medicade to send me what i need to go to the doctor. I went a month or so ago, but wasn't in the medi-cal managed care thing so couldn't really get much accomplished. Hopefully though now that things are settling down i can get things done. I need to get my pacemaqker battery changed before the year is out.

I love android 4.1 (jellybean) Android accessibility has come quite a way since i last used an android phone. The touchscreen is completely accessible now. The only real complaint i have about android is the whole mtp thing. They use mtp to manage media and so on, and the way things are now, the mtphuse thing is buggy as all hell. Can't put media on the phone or anything. I gather if you mount it as a camera it should work correctly, but it uses ptp which i gather is just as bad.
